Oven Roasted Brisket

Ingredients

  • 4 Lbs beef brisket

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • Dry rub ->

  • 2 Tbsp cumin

  • 3 Tbsp paprika

  • 2 Tbsp cracked pepper

  • 1 Tbsp salt

  • 1 Tbsp oregano

  • 1/4c garlic powder

  • 1 tsp cayenne

  • 2 tsp dry mustard

Directions

  • Trim any excess fat. Combine dry rub ingredients and rub all over brisket.

  • Bake in a foil lined pan for 1hr @ 350f uncovered.

  • Add 1/2c beef broth to pan, cover with foil, cook an additional 3hr @ 300f until meat shreds easily with a fork.
